The birthday wish
One of my biggest birthday wishes was to start my own blog but I genuinely didn't have the know how. The universe worked its magic and I found an online programme that was teaching exactly that and here I am. Memoirs of a Blazer is more than a clothing blog for me because it represents the importance of just starting. You know the number of times we find ourselves cooing over what other people have and wishing that we could have the same, do the same and be the same, yet we never get it because we are afraid. Well let me tell you a secret, I'm always afraid. I am absolutely terrified but I have to keep going. I have to keep believing that on the other side of my fears lies greatness.
We are all meant to fulfill something epic in our lives. As Oprah always says "we are meant to express the highest versions of ourselves" everyday and yet fear and caring what others may think stop us every time. I don't pretend that I am brave all the time and sometimes I fail dismally in conquering some fears but I think some day I'm going to get past most of my fears. However what I do know for sure, is that if we are going to through this thing called life once and only once then we have to make it count. We have to build the things that will live longer than we live. We have to realize that we are enough as we are and that we don't need other things or other people to fulfill us. We have to know that as soon as we were conceived we possessed all the greatness we will ever need.
Don't lose sight of who you are because of fear or distraction. Just start with who you are right now and create something that will keep the world inspired for centuries to come. When you take your last breath let all your dreams be an inspiration to thousands of others. Everyone is always watching you just as you are watching them. Be the right kind of change. Be the best best version of yourself because "our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure".
Happy birthday to my dreams and I. My wish is that you follows yours too!
